It started in Martinique, precisely the day I found my dad’s Hasselblad. I was around 12 years old, and it was my first contact ever with photography.

It continues in Paris, one year in the Brasaï School of photography. My traineeship had become my first job, I was working in a lab, Atelier Label Image in the middle of Belleville next to Sala Studio & Hasselblad. Working in this lab gave me the opportunity to travel to Israel, Jordan as a photo assistant / digital capture: a great trip with Humberto Da Silveira.

My first retouching job was for Sarah Moon around 2007, an Issey Miyake editorial.

That same year I had spent three weeks in Western Asia, Saudi Arabia, back with Humberto Da Silveira for architectural retouching and mate-painting. When I came back to Paris I’ve worked with Robert Delpire as his assistant during 4 years in Delpire Editeur. Indesin, typography, layouts were my daily.

In 2012 I opened CRBYGEA Creative Retouching By Georges-Emmanuel Arnaud and retouch several editorial 10 Magazine, Vogue Korea, Swarovski Crystakkized, L’Express Style, Grey Magazine, Dior Homme,Maurizio Galante, Gallois Montbrun & Fabiani, Vogue Turkey, Creative Exchange Agency, 7000 Magazine, Another Magazine, Kris Van Assche, Faux Q, Soon International, Vogue Italia, OOB Magazine, Commons & Sense Man and international campaign like Wunderkind, Valentino, Lilith, Neiman Marcus, Bellavista Wine, Hermes’Petit H, Chanel Jewellery.

From this time my goal has been to work on great projects with other creative people around the world.
I found new goals and new goals have come to me, now, I also am a teacher in both photography and retouching, I run my own photo studio and gear rental company.
